My name is Mai, and I am about to finish my studies at Durham College, where I am seeking a degree in Early Childhood Education. As a mother of two children, I understand the importance of early childhood development and how it affects a child's future.

My goal is to become a registered Early Childhood Educator, with the knowledge and abilities needed to offer supportive and enriching environments for young children. I am very excited about including outdoor experiences and nature walks in early childhood education because I believe in the intangible benefits of connecting children with nature.
In addition to my academic activities, I like reading and swimming. These personal hobbies not only provide opportunities for self-care, but they also stimulate creativity and innovation in my teaching style.

With a strong commitment to continued professional development and a desire to promote holistic growth in children, I am excited to begin this rewarding journey as an Early Childhood Educator.
